Associação da cromogranina A e da amilase salivar com a ansiedade e o estresse de profissionais de enfermagem hospitalar

Abstract

(58%) and many of them (48,1%) had mild, moderate or severe anxiety. It was found that in the morning shift the activity of AA changed between the collection times. Already the CgA, presented more changes in the afternoon shift. It was found that the variables age group, number of children, length of work in the institution, weekly workload and medication use were significantly associated with the anxiety of nursing professionals (p<0,05). In addition, the variables: age group, physical activity practice, continuous medication use, length of work in the institution, other employment and smoking, showed an association with workers' stress (p<0,05). Anxiety was found to be associated with stress of nursing professionals (p<0,001). When analyzing the association of anxiety and stress with AA and CgA, statistical significance was found between the group "stress and anxiety" with AA at night shift times (p<0,05). Significance was also found for the "stress and anxiety" group with CgA at night shift, as well as for the "anxiety" group at morning shift (p<0,05). Conclusion: Nursing professionals presented high levels of anxiety and stress, which were associated with changes in CgA and AA at certain times and work shifts, demonstrating that anxiety and stress biomarkers may be possible.
