“…INTRODUÇÃOOs níveis de aptidão física das crianças e jovens brasileiras vêm sendo estudados na última década. Sendo um dos componentes da aptidão física o estado nutricional,Flores et al (2013) observaram a tendência do baixo peso, sobrepeso e obesidade de aproximadamente 24 mil crianças e adolescentes brasileiras entre os anos de 2005 eMello et al (2019) ao buscar identificar as características pedagógicas da EF escolar ao avaliar 236 escolares e seus professores da zona sul de Porto Alegre, RS, evidenciam a falta de compromisso ou de preocupação com a promoção da saúde dos escolares, com discursos baseados no senso comum, politicamente correto, mas efetivamente muito pouco consistente em relação às preocupações com a saúde dos adolescentes. De tal modo que, ao encontro de outros autores(Fortes et al, 2012; Kremer, Conforme sugerem Hulley et al (2015), para seleção dos sujeitos da pesquisa primeiramente definiu-se a população alvo como os estudantes de seis a 12 anos de idade não completos que frequentam turmas do primeiro ao quinto ano do ensino fundamental de escolas públicas brasileiras.…”
