Assessment of the Performance of Sediments and Scrap Rubber Layers to Filter the Leachate of Landfills

Abstract: The leachate from landfills is considered as a great danger to the environment and human health. This danger is represented in its toxic components. The major purpose of this project is how to get rid of the toxic materials by a collection of sediments, scrap rubber and geotextile layers.
