Les maladies atopiques resultent d'un conflit immunologique entre un allergene et des anticorps allergiques aboutissant chez I'homme a la liberation d'histamine (3, 10, 11, 24, 25) et de « Slow-Reacting Substances » (3) et localise pour des raisons mal connues au niveau de la peau (urticaire, eczema diathesique) ou des muqueuses (rhinite, asthme, conjonctivite). Elks surviennent chez des sujets hereditairen:ient predisposes elaborant de fa^on « spontanee » des anticorps sensibilisants la peau (reagines) vis a vis de substances tres variees bien tolerees par la majorite de Tespece (allergenes).Cette conception pathogenique repose sur les observations fondamentales suivantes;1. La peau, les bronches ou les cellules sanguines de sujets atopiques deviennent in vivo ou in vitro le siege d'une reaction anaphylactique en presence d'un allergene specifique (3, 10, 11, 24, 25). 2.
