Assessment of the efficiency of the food system in the context of measures aimed at the development of the regional agroindustrial complex

Abstract

The formation and functioning of the food system of the region depends on the effectiveness of the development of its agro-industrial complex. The article reveals a methodology for assessing the effectiveness of the functioning of the food system of the region on the basis of international practice of assessing food security, taking into account the peculiarities of regional differentiation, including the assessment of indicators in three areas: physical accessibility, quality and safety, natural resources and sustainability.
