“…The antioxidant compound analysis of Capparis spinosa L seed extracts revealed high levels of total phenolic, flavonoid rutin, and quercetin. The MTT assay showed that in comparison to the hacked cells, Capparis spinosa L. seed extracts at a concentration of 1000 g/mL reduced the viability of the SH-SY5Y cancer cell lines (P 0.001), which could be due to the high antioxidant content of the seed extract of Capparis spinosa L [16].…”
