Abstract:In the present work, the thermoluminescence (TL) properties and kinetics of beta‐irradiated porcelain used as an electrical insulator are investigated in great depth. Thermal annealing at 1100°C slightly changes the trap system, whereas heating over 500°C increases the visual TL intensity of the peaks. XRD, SEM‐EDS, AAS, and FTIR were used to confirm the structural, morphological, and chemical investigations of the materials. TL glow curve characteristics, repeatability, storage time properties, and dose respo… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
