Abstract:Abstract. GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) data can be used for geodetic remote sensing, particularly for monitoring the ionosphere in the context of Space Weather. One of the important parameters derived from GNSS measurements for ionospheric analysis is the Slant Total Electron Content (STEC). By utilizing GNSS data from multiple frequencies or even a single frequency, the STEC can be computed using an appropriated linear combination, like geometry free. However, when computing an ionospheric gradie… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
