Assessment of Smart Grid Systems for Electricity Using Power Maclaurin Symmetric Mean Operators Based on T-Spherical Fuzzy Information

Abstract: Traditional electricity networks are replaced by smart grids to increase efficiency at a low cost. Several energy projects in Pakistan have been developed, while others are currently in the planning stages. To assess the performance of the smart grids in Pakistan, this article employs a multi-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) strategy based on power Maclaurin symmetric mean (PMSM) operators. We proposed a T-spherical fuzzy (TSF) power MSM (TSFPMSM), and a weighted TSFPMSM (WTSFPMSM) operator. The propose… Show more

“…Higher ratings were given to the sub-criteria of society and environment than to the other. Naseem et al (2022) proposed a MCDM model to analyze performance of the smart grids in Pakistan based on T-Spherical Fuzzy Power Maclaurin Symmetric Mean (TSFPMSM) operator. Narayanamoorthy et al (2023) introduced a Linear Diophantine Hesitant Fuzzy Sets (LDHFS) to evaluate five alternatives of energy storage technology in India.…”

“…In many real-world disciplines, fuzzy set theory offers an approach to representing uncertainties that are frequently utilized to address issues with uncertainty modeling including ambiguous and unclear information (Naseem et al 2022 ; Wang 2021 ). Zadeh ( 1965 ) created the idea of a standard fuzzy set, where a membership function can reflect hazy and equivocal information in human opinion and judgments, for the purpose of conveying the ambiguity and uncertainties inherent in physical decision-making circumstances.…”

“…As an alternative to conventional fuzzy sets, Atanassov ( 1986 ) formulated the conception of an intuitionistic fuzzy set that protrudes the conventional fuzzy set by consolidating a membership grade of negativity along with a membership grade of positivity within the interval [0, 1], which represents the appropriate strategy to recognize a way of human thinking (Naseem et al 2022 ; Dai et al 2023 ). The intuitionistic fuzzy theory becomes more resilient and prevalent in real-world issues like clustering analysis, decision analysis, location (site) selection, pattern identification, risk assessment, situation assessment, and supplier selection (Dai et al 2023 ; Jia et al 2023 ; Qiao and Wang 2023 ; Varshney et al 2022 ).…”
