Assessment of Small-Diameter Aortic Mechanical Prostheses

Abstract: Background-Noninvasive assessment of functionally stenotic small-diameter aortic mechanical prostheses is complicated by theoretical constraints relating to the hemodynamic relevance of Doppler-derived transprosthetic gradients.
