Assessment of River Plan Change Using Rs and Gis Technique

Abstract: Rivers is one of the complex natural systems. Classification of the river plan change is very important to know the river problems in early stage, where the classification database can help to understand the behavior of the river in each part. This article discusses about the classification of river plan change at the mainstream of Pahang River, Malaysia. Based on Geographical Information System (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS) database, analysis of Types Of Lateral Activity (TYLAT) method and Modes of Meander Mo… Show more

“…There are some problems occur but had been solved at the end of the fabrication process [24]- [26]. The expected result for this study is hydro survey boat can give the best performance during the process of collecting data (environmental impact assessment) [27]- [30]. Moreover, the hydro survey boat can give a huge impact in terms of safety to the user compared to the manual boat.…”

“…Recharge estimation has no reliable techniques that will lead to the accurate results, but it can be based on a wide variety of models which are designed to represent the actual physical processes. The most common methods use for estimation of natural groundwater recharge include groundwater balance method, soil water balance method, zero flux plane method, onedimensional soil water flow model, and inverse modeling techniques and isotopes and solute profile techniques [1]- [4].…”
