Assessment of residency program outcomes via alumni surveys

Abstract: BackgroundOne trend in medical education is outcomes-oriented training. Outcomes usually refer to individuals’ acquisition of competencies, for example, during training in residency programs. However, little is known about outcomes of these programs.
