Assessment of Production Process Capability in the Serial Production of Components for the Automotive Industry

Abstract: The article deals with the assessment of production process capability in the serial production of plastic components. The plastic component was used for analysis. Component is used in the automotive industry in car suspension shock absorbers. Assessing the capability of the product’s manufacturing process is very important. The aim of the present paper is to measure the dimensional characteristics of a thermoplastic product as a monitored quality feature. The analyzed product is manufactured in an eightfold i… Show more

“…The results can be useful in the development of long-term sustainable PLM models [27,28,29]. The aim of the work is to improve the methods of processing and using technical and economic information in the design of complex products based on structural-parametric models, which take into account the possibilities for increasing the efficiency of use of resources and energy [30,31,32,33], as well as the development of sustainable infrastructure of processes at the stages of the life cycle [34,35,36,37].…”

“…the pressure drop in the space between the chambers, when determining the pressure distribution in the seal gap [2,4,5,29]. In this article, we propose a method for determining the pressure distribution in the impulse seal gap, taking into account both the radial gas flow due to the difference between the sealing and atmospheric pressure, and the circumferential flow caused by the sealing surfaces relative rotation [36,37,38,39].…”

“…However, development of recommendations of justification the choice of block-polyurethanes, which is optimal for these operating conditions, is empirical, and the concept of "composition-structure-properties" is incomplete and contradictory. Considerable amount of researches on block polyurethanes is highly specialized and scattered [Shtompel 2011, Madbouly 2009, Thomas 2018, Rimar 2016, Vojtko 2014, Zaborowski 2007, 2014, Markulik 2016, Michalik 2014, Janekova 2014, Sebo 2012, Bielousová 2017, Dobránsky 2019, Mačala 2012, Pollák 2018. Therefore, development of scientific basis for the creation of blockpolyurethanes of high wear and abrasion resistance, taking into account the influence of the structural organization parameters of all levels of polymeric material on the properties is an urgent scientific and technical problem and is of great practical importance for usage in industry.…”
