Assessment of Metabolites Content of Native Alcoholic Beverages Obtained from Jos, Nigeria

Abstract: Burukutu, (BKT) Pito (PT) and Goskolo (GSK) are drinks consumed routinely within the area of study. Although consumption of GSK is illegal owing to its life threatening toxicity, people still consume it secretly. Whereas BKT and PT are locally prepared using unscientific methods in preparing the drinks, GSK is a mixture containing different compounds and chemicals.
