Abstract:Hepatic encephalopathy (HE) is one of the major complications of liver cirrhosis (LC). It's defined as a reversible neuropsychiatric event of liver cirrhosis. Up to fifty percent of cirrhotic patients will suffer from at least one attack of HE.
