Abstract: The harmful effects of synthetic pesticides include neurological, behavioural dysfunctions, hormonal imbalances, and water pollution. Hydro-alcohol extract of the stem bark of B. sapida was studied for pesticidal effects on Glutathione S-transferases (GST) and acetylcholinesterase (AChE) using a rat model.
