Abstract: Introduction: Laryngoscopy and intubation result in stimulation of larynx, pharynx, epipharynx and trachea, which are extensively innervated by autonomic nervous system. The parasympathetic supply is via the vagus and sympathetic supply via superior cervical ganglion.
