Abstract:BackgroundPatients of severe mitral stenosis (MS) in normal sinus rhythm (NSR) with left atrial appendage (LAA) inactivity and associated left atrial spontaneous echo contrast (LASEC) develop left atrial (LA) or LAA thrombus.
