Assessment of cleaning stethoscopes using UV-C sanitation

Abstract: Background: It is well established that stethoscopes harbor pathogenic bacteria species. Within hospital settings, these pathogens can be rapidly transmitted from room to room and can cause harm in vulnerable populations.
