Abstract:Background: In our previous studies we investigated water-soluble mucilaginous high molecular fractions (HMF) of medicinal plants Symphytum asperum, S.caucasicum, S.grandiflorum, S.officinale, Anchusa italica, Cynoglossum officinale, Borago officinalis and Paracynoglossum imeretinum (Boraginaceae family).
