Assessment and Multivariate Analysis of Metals in Surgical Instrument Industry Affected Top Soils and Groundwater for Future Reclamation

Abstract: The levels of selected metals (Ca, Na, Mg, Fe, Cu, Pb, Ni, Co, Cr and Cd) were determined in effluent, groundwater and soil samples obtained from surgical instrument industries in Sialkot Pakistan by AAS. The metal distribution in the three media was quite divergent with high skewness and standard deviation parameters.
