“…Hence, it may leach out into the ground water and flow into waterways by agricultural runoffs (Meite et al, 2018). In addition, residue of metalaxyl has been detected in honey, grape wine, and chrysanthemum flower used for tea infusion (El‐Nahhal, 2020; Hou et al, 2020; Jiang et al, 2020). It is likely that metalaxyl may enter the human body.…”

“…Desta forma, a grande preocupação da população que consome mate ou chimarrão é a presença de agrotóxicos. A água é responsável por considerável degradação dos agrotóxicos em solução (Hwang et al, 2003) e muitos estudos demonstraram que os pesticidas organoclorados, organofosforados, piretróides e neonicotinóides (Witczak et al, 2018;Jiang et al, 2020) podem ser transferidos para a infusão em diferentes proporções.…”

“…They have also proposed that the pesticides with high water solubility and low octanol-water partition coefficients (log K ow ) exhibited high transfer rates. A study on levels of pesticide, after soil application of recommended (3.2 and 2.1, 4.3 and 4.3 kg had1 for metalaxyl-M, fludioxonil, cyantraniliprole and thiamethoxam, respectively) and double the recommended dose of mixed pesticide solutions twice with an interval of 7 days at the squaring stage of chrysanthemum, showed that 59.9%, 9.8%, 29.4%, 88.2% and 68.4% of metalaxyl-M (99.5% purity), fludioxonil (99.0% purity), cyantraniliprole (99.2% purity), thiamethoxam (98.2% purity) and clothianidin (99.0% purity), respectively got transferred to tea decoction on infusion (Jiang et al, 2020). Kumar et al, 2005 have reported transfer of 23.6 to 40% levels of propargite on tea infusion.…”
