The sustainable, sustainability and sustainable development are remarkable and timely terms at the global level. However as they lack an axiomatic concept, they lead to criticism and doubts in their theoretical application and praxis. In this sense, this study aims to analyze the attributes of sustainable, sustainability and sustainable development to contribute to its concept. This work is typified as a qualitative, bibliographical, and interpretive one, in which the databases of consulted journals are related to Science Direct, Springer Link, Wiley Online Library, and Google Scholar. The main results show that the sustainable is responsible for solutions to the deterioration of the humanenvironment system with the help of sustainability and sustainable development. Sustainability measures the level of quality of this system in order to evaluate its distance from the sustainable. Sustainable development works with strategies to bring the level of sustainability closer to the sustainable human-environment system. The attributes of these terms have distinct meanings and relate to specific praxis, but they converge to a single goal. Thus, an axiomatic concept of these terms assists in praxis to hold areas with distinct functions accountable, but with a single final attempt to achieve the idea of a sustainable human-environment system. We hope this work may prompt further study on these terms and help in understanding their praxis and theoretical application.Keywords: Sustainable. Nature capital. Environmental/human system. Entretanto pelo fato de serem desprovidos de conceitos axiomáticos geram críticas e dúvidas na práxis. Este estudo objetiva analisar os atributos de sustentável, sustentabilidade e desenvolvimento sustentável visando contribuir para o axioma de seus conceitos. Esta pesquisa tipifica-se em qualitativa, bibliográfica e interpretativa. As bases de periódicos consultados relacionam-se a Science Direct, Springer Link, Wiley Online Library e Google Scholar. Os principais resultados revelam que "sustentável" tem a incumbência pelas soluções à deterioração do sistema ambiental humano com auxílio da sustentabilidade e do desenvolvimento sustentável. A sustentabilidade mensura o nível da qualidade deste sistema com intuito de avaliar o seu grau de distância em relação ao sustentável. O desenvolvimento sustentável atua com estratégias para aproximar o nível de sustentabilidade ao sistema ambiental humano sustentável. INTRODUÇÃONeste limiar de século, não se pode deixar de enfatizar que a história da relação das organizações industriais com o meio ambiente ainda tem sido de grandes impactos ambientais, afetando o futuro da humanidade e do planeta quanto ao uso insustentável dos recursos naturais e à saúde humana. Os desperdícios e a geração de resíduos de grande monta em praticamente todas as fases da produção evidenciam a enorme ineficiência dos processos produtivos, comprometendo as condições de vida das pessoas e o seu ambiente vivencial. Tal situação de insustentabilidade de recursos naturais passou a ser percebida a partir do estudo exploratório realizado na indústria de cerâmica vermelha denominada Villar Produtos Cerâmicos, localizada na zona rural do município de Tangará-RN. Nessa empresa, viu-se que a geração de desperdícios e resíduos, principalmente nos processos de extrusão, corte, secagem e queima, consistem em um problema a ser superado por meio de abordagens mais sustentáveis. Não se pode negar que o ramo industrial da cerâmica vermelha ou estrutural tem sua parcela de contribuição na deterioração da qualidade ambiental, pois ainda existem inúmeras indústrias que perseguem o controle da poluição (utilizando técnicas do tipo fim de tubo) em detrimento de

Firms working in the third millennium have to face the challenge of being more sustainable. The complexity and the multidisciplinary nature of sustainability also requires new and specific knowledge. This means the necessity of a critical rethinking of the education system in the way to provide the cognitive tools and applications needed for new generations to address environmental, economic, and social challenges. In this perspective, the role of the school it is crucial, above all, to encourage attention to include sustainability as a theme on educational programs, focusing on the promotion of its multiple dimensions. Interdisciplinary sustainability programs are emerging globally, but little is known about the learning in these educational contexts.Therefore, the current research explores training modules used in the activities of a park to verify how students can receive a sustainable education from primary school; whether and in which way education can be a driver for the promotion of sustainable development; and whether it is effective to insert eco-activities such as eco-games, eco-campus, and eco-sports in the training modules from primary school onwards. For this purpose, the paper employed a single case study approach using the Emotions Park as a teaching plan. In particular, game and sports constantly accompany the training process by creating interdisciplinary links with different study subjects (e.g., civic education, environmental education, communication). Through the eco-activities, an innovative way to promote environmental and sustainability education was explored as a training model. Outdoor play, observation, and stimulation of the senses have proved powerful learning tools, and key to the acquisition of skills. Research data were collected observing the behavior of a sample of 22 participants and through face-to-face semi-structured interviews with educators, employee and students. The empirical observation suggests that inserting the sustainability principles as a topic in didactic programs provides the cognitive tools and applications needed for the new generations to address environmental, economic, and social challenges.
