“…The present study findings on perineal pain in the immediate postpartum period following vaginal delivery may encourage health professionals to be more involved and better understand the consequences of pain to the quality of life of the parturient, hence improve their assistance during and after delivery. Proper management of postpartum pain is also important to encourage early breastfeeding (Dwi Putri, 2019;Hasan & Hasan, 2020) and foster patients' satisfaction (Amasha, Abdel-Haleem, & Gamal, 2020).
