Assessing poverty and livelihood vulnerability of the fishing communities in the context of pollution of the Churni River, India

Abstract: The present study exhibits a critical outlook on the poverty and livelihood vulnerability of the fisherman community in the context of persistent water pollution of the Churni River. The logistic regression model has identified eight factors influencing the poverty of the study area while the entropy weight method identifies the livelihood vulnerability of the fishermen.
