Abstract:Identification of large shale gas reserves has reduced the price of methane significantly. Interest in converting methane to value-added commodity chemicals has increased as a result of these findings [1]. Direct conversion of methane to ethylene using heterogeneous methods such as oxidative and non-oxidative coupling of methane (OCM and NOCM) utilize metal oxide catalysts with varying success. However, a catalyst with commercial viability remains elusive. Recently, iron-doped Sr2Fe1.5+0.075Mo0.5O6-δ electrode… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
