Abstract:Alkaline to subalkaline mafic dikes in the 28 to 18 Ma Dulce swarm were emplaced in a zone of incipient extension from southern Colorado into northern New Mexico on the northeastern boundary of the San Juan Basin. The 87Sr/86Sr ratios for the dikes are 0.70503 to 0.70584, akin to most post-28 Ma mafic rocks across the northern San Juan Basin.
