Assessing Counselor Education Students' Attitudes Toward Computers and Multimedia Instruction

Abstract: Forty‐four beginning‐level graduate counselor education students completed 2 technology attitudinal surveys after being exposed to a 15‐week multimedia instructional approach. Results revealed a positive attitude toward computers and multimedia instruction. These findings lend empirical support for the use of multimedia instruction in training counselors and as a tool to supplement and complement traditional methods of teaching.
