Assessing contributor features to phishing susceptibility amongst students of petroleum resources varsity in Nigeria

Abstract: In this observational quasi-experimental study, we recruited 200 participants during the Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun’s (FUPRE) orientation, who were exposed to socially engineered (phishing) attacks over nine months. Attacks sought to extract participants’ data and/or entice them to click (compromised) links. The study aims to determine phishing exposure and risks among undergraduates in FUPRE (Nigeria) by observing their responses to socially-engineered attacks and exploring their attitu… Show more

“…Also, [58], [59] in a bid to resolve this via shelf management, grouped the task into 2-parts: (a) a heuristic model to value shelf-layout impact on transaction, and (b) used simulated annealing to maximize expected total profit. This agrees with [60]- [62].…”

“…Thus, for true-positive cases, the model predicted positive (correctly) and also predicted negative (correctly) for true-negative cases. Conversely, sensitivity and specificity rates were computed with standardized tests for our test data [78], [79]. These proved, to be more efficient.…”

“…And thus, adopt a uniform standard for data exchange -poised to interface and integrate a variety of data structures to help achieve interoperability [76]. Interoperability is a secure access, integration, and timely adaptation of clinical data explored to help optimize health outcomes in all scenarios [77]- [79]. Its goal is to promote retrieval/access ease of clinical records to yield timely, equitable, and efficient patientcentric care [80], [81].…”
