Assesment of Hepatoprotective Activity of Roots and Barks of Achyranthes Aspera in Carbon Tetrachloride-Induced Hepatotoxicity in Rats

Abstract: Carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) is a colorless liquid organic compound which is used for household work. Mainly liver and kidney of human are the major organs for CCl4 toxicity. Liver can damage after 24 hours of CCl4 ingestion and can cause severe fatal symptoms including painful swollen liver, hemorrhages, hepatic coma leading to death. We examined the effect of CCl4 on rat liver. Serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase (SGPT) and serum bilirubin levels are used as a biomarker for the hepatotoxicity. Our goal was to… Show more

“…By integrating a large amount of modern human capital and science and technology to realize the unity of economic, social production efficiency using DEA, was made and "default production function" was replaced with "non-default production function" and studied with the agricultural productivity in the United Kingdom combined with the mathematical programming model (Farrell, 1957;Hanley and Oglethorpe, 1998). Subsequently, the DEA model was used to calculate the technical efficiency of Swedish dairy farms and Thai farms (Krasachat, 2009;Hasanov and Nomman, 2011;Fahim and Sathi, 2018). In other studies, DEA method was employed to analyze agricultural production efficiency and related influencing factors detailed of Uzbekistan, Indian states and Brazilian states (Theodoridis, 2014;Ray and Ghose, 2014;Souza and Gomes, 2015).…”

“…At corn harvest, yield monitor was taken by 5-point sampling method with each 2 point 1 m . The main indexes included ear number per unit, grain number per ear, and then calculated yield with those indexes (Weixing et al, 2011;Fahim and Sathi, 2018).…”

“…However, few studies are about haploid doubling by treated with antimicrotubule herbicides in maize. In order to choose a low toxic and effective haploid doubling reagent, two kinds of anti-microtubules, AMP and Oryzalin, and colchicine were used to treat seeds, buds, and shoots of maize haploids in different concentrations at different growth time points (Howlader et al, 2018;H'ng et al, 2018;Fahim and Sathi, 2018). Moreover, the results of this study may provide the theory basis and feasible measure for improving the technology of haploid doubling in maize.…”
