“…Battered women have been the recipients of women’s group treatment. Meyers-Abell & Jansen (1980) reported their experience with a group at a domestic violence center. They obtained the Beck Depression Inventory and Adult Self-Expression Scale (which measures assertiveness) from the subjects before the initiation of the group, but, due to difficulty locating the subjects after treatment, did not obtain posttreatment data.…”
