Asperosaponin VI induces osteogenic differentiation of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells via the estrogen signaling pathway

Abstract: Background: Asperosaponin VI (ASA VI) is an active ingredient found in the traditional Chinese herb Radix Dipsaci, which is used to treat fractures. ASA VI combined with osteogenic medium can induce osteogenic differentiation of rat-derived stem cells.
