Asociaciones palinologicas en las formaciones Los Monos (Devonico) e Itacua (Carbonifero Inferior) en Balapuca (Cuenca Tarija), sur de Bolivia: Parte 2. Asociaciones de la Formacion Itacuae interpretacion estratigrafica y cronologia de las formaciones Los Monos e Itacua.

Abstract: RESUMENSe presenta el resultado palinológico de tres muestras fértiles de la Formación Itacua, la cual aflora en la localidad de Balapuca ubicada en la margen boliviana del río Bermejo, en la sierra de San Telmo. La extensión estratigráfica de las especies determinadas en esta asociación permitió identificar dos conjuntos de palinomorfos, uno autóctono compuesto por 61 especies de esporas y escasas colonias de Botryococcus, y otro conjunto de especies retrabajadas conformado por esporas, acritarcas, prasinofit… Show more
