Ascaris lumbricoides, an uncommon cause of appendicitis

Abstract: Appendicitis is the first cause of acute abdomen. There are many causes of appendicitis, one of them is parasites, and, Ascaris is the most common helminth infection in tropical countries (Asia, Africa, South America).
