Aryl and 1,3-dioxoindanyl derivatives of azoles and azines (review)

Abstract: Data on the synthesis, tautomerism, complexing characteristics, and luminescence of 2- (2′-amino-, hydroxy-, hydrochalcogenophenyl)azoles, azines, and hetarylindanediones are reviewed. This review is devoted to the recent chemistry of five-and six-membered nitrogen-containing heterocycles containing 2-amino-, 2-hydroxy-, and 2-hydrochalcogenophenyl and indanedione (thione) fragments. These compounds are of fundamental importance during the investigation of fundamental problems in the chemistry of heterocyclic … Show more

“…Reactivity of metal complexes is an important area of coordination chemistry [47][48][49][50], including reactions on coordinatively-unsaturated donor centers 52, 59 [14,17,25,26] or metals complex-formers 54-57 [14, 41,42], as well as reactions of self-assembling, leading to various supramolecular structures [19][20][21]. Reactions of coordinated inorganic and organic ligands are of the high interest.…”
