Artistic and Communicative Connections between Newspaper Cartooning and Epa Festival in Ijagun Community, Ogun State, Nigeria

Abstract: Newspaper cartoons and Epa masks worn by Epa masquerades are similar in their humorous appearances and communicative values. This study examined the artistic and communicative connections between newspaper cartooning and Epa festival in Ijagun community, Ogun State, Nigeria.
