“…Indeed, gel-gluglycerosomes provided the more rapid and effective closure of skin lesions in the scratch assay, probably because of the ability of glucidex and/or its combination with gelatin, to promote cell proliferation to a better extent than the other components of the vesicles. This result is in agreement with previous studies reporting the wound healing promotion of different polysaccharides [ 76 , 77 ]. The most promising efficacy of gel-gluglycerosomes can also be due to the delayed and prolonged uptake provided by all glycerosomes in comparison with liposomes.…”

“…This is a first report of such rapid and complete wound healing herbal compounds in sea cucumbers, where typically model organisms such as mice are used. Researches in the use of Chinese herbal medicines on wound healing have developed from simple morphology and tissue structure to cell biology, molecular biology and other fields (Farahpour & Habibi, 2012; Hou et al., 2015; Hu et al., 2019). Thus, the cellular and molecular analyses of herbal treatments in sea cucumbers are greatly needed.…”

“…A total of three fetal rats were obtained from each pregnant rat, for a total of 54 fetal rats from both GA16.5 and GA18.5 groups, and the survival rate was calculated. Tissue samples from the surgical site on the upper-left lip and asymmetrical sections from the upper-right lip were collected from the fetal rats for histological examination, including hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) staining, Masson's Trichrome staining and type-I collagen immunohistochemical staining as previously described ( 14 16 ).…”
