Abstract: -Who determines the diversity of oligopeptide transport specificity in Lactococcus lactis? In this review our knowledge of oligopeptide transport by Opp in Lactococcus lactis is discussed. The specific oligopeptide transport system Opp is essential for growth of lactic acid bacteria in milk.
