Arsinoe II Philadelphos

Abstract: Arsinoe II was one of the most prominent and popular queens of the Ptolemaic Dynasty, and set an enviable example for her successor‐queens in many respects. Arsinoe was born in 316 BCE as a daughter of Ptolemy I and his third wife, Berenike I.
