Abstract:Human health has been seriously endangered by arsenic pollution in drinking water. In this paper, iron hydroxide nanopetalines were synthesized through a precipitation method using KBH4 and their performance and mechanism of As(V) and As(III) removal were investigated. The prepared material was characterized by SEM–EDX, XRD, BET, zeta potential and FTIR analyses. Batch experiments indicated that the iron hydroxide nanopetalines exhibited more excellent performance for As(V) and As(III) removal than ferrihydrit… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
