“…As a dopamine autoreceptor partial agonist, aripiprazole causes a minimal or no change in serum prolactin. Alternately, in one reported case, institution of aripiprazole led to resolution of chronic (2 year's duration) haloperidol-induced tardive dyskinesia which had been refractory to six other atypical agents (8).
