“…Employment intensity has been found to be moderately negatively correlated with degree expectations, persistence, and other desirable outcomes (American Council on Education 2003 ;Carter 1999;Hoyt 1999;Toutkoushian and Smart 2001), although this finding is not entirely consistent across studies (Titus 2004).
