“…Turkish cannabis is not known to be trafficked internationally, but existing heroin-trafficking networks may facilitate the adaptation of local farmers to the European cannabis market, giving them the knowledge to take up modern production methods that increase fertility and enabling them to export their product to Europe through existing trafficking networks.
