Introduction: Every amazing human development in the modern world is resulted from learning; therefore, teaching and learning improvement are the bases of all activities. There is a wide-range of factors affecting learning and the identification of these factors is very important in fixing problems and deficiencies in educational systems. Among the factors contributing to academic achievement are the consideration of students' differences and identification of their learning styles. Accordingly, the present study was conducted to identify medical students' learning styles in terms of gender.Methodology: This is a descriptive-analytical study that it conducted in 2015 on 360 students of Medical Sciences. The data collected through a two-part questionnaire consisting of questions about students' demographic characteristics and the validated VARK questionnaire to categorize their learning styles. Using the SPSS-19 software, the collected data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, Chi-square test and ANOVA.Results: the results showed that the mostly preferred learning style among medical students was the Read/Write style (48.3% of students at school of nursing, 56.7% of students at school of dentistry, 40% of students at school of medicine, 36.7% of students at school of paramedics, 53.3% of students at school of public health and 43.3% of students at school of rehabilitation). The results also showed no significant relationship between learning style and age (p=0.60), school (p=0.106) and gender (p=0.41).Conclusions: the results of this study showed that there is no significant relationship between gender and learning style of medical students. Furthermore, the mostly preferred learning style of students at Zahedan University of Medical Sciences is the Read/Write style.

Abstract-This paper discusses the roles of communication and coordination (C&C) in the agile teams. C&C are important activities that a project manager has to deal with tactically during the development of software projects to avoid the consequences. Their importance further increases especially in case of distributed software development (DSD). C&C are considered as project drivers to accomplish a project successfully within budget and schedule. There are several issues associated to poor C&C those can lead to fail software projects such as budget deficit, delay in delivery, conflicts among team members, unclear goals of project and architectural, technical and integration dependencies. C&C issues are critical and vital for collocated teams but their presences in distributed teams are disastrous. Scrum is one of the most widely practiced agile models and it is gaining further popularity in the agile community. Therefore, a novel framework is proposed to address the issues that are associated to C&C using Scrum methodology. The proposed framework is validated through a questionnaire. The results are found supportive to reflect that it will help to resolve the C&C issues effectively and efficiently.

Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs) is a major new approach to enhance students' performance level at any higher education institution. Moreover, it supports decision making based on the extracted information. It works as a framework for continuous improvement and evaluation in higher education environments. This study intends to achieve many benefits including; minimize wastages education through selecting the appropriate decision for students to increase education values. Additionally, the study presents the Proposed Advising Approach to support students during the course registration process. The study is applied in the faculty of Commerce and Business Administration, Business Information System program (BIS) at Helwan University, Egypt. The experimental results have shown that the students who used the proposed advising approach have the highest percentage of the score from pre-test to post-test.
