Arctic Drilling Hazard Identification Relating to Salt Tectonics

Abstract: The focus of this study is to improve our technical understanding of anticipated drilling hazards in the Arctic Circle, especially hazards relating to drilling into and adjacent to evaporitic (salt) structures and associated tectonics. We explore current drilling technologies available to us to mitigate any anticipated drilling hazard.
