Architectural control of construction materials with application of man-made wastes

Abstract: Abstract. The article considers the principles of construction materials formation based on non-organic and organic raw materials when material matrix is filled with particulate fillers from man-made wastes of various nature formed in different conditions. Qualitative and quantitative requirements for mineral, chemical and material composition of wastes to modify construction materials are detailed. The ways to use them as modifiers of construction materials are shown by the example of wastes group belonging t… Show more

“…As a result of research experimental data bank has been established on the basis of which correlation analysis "characteristic parameter of fillers -thermal resistance of filled PVC compounds" has been carried out. The list and main characteristics of wastes used and analysed as PVC fillers are shown in the research [13]. Inorganic wastes are: metallurgical industry wastes (cast iron slag, ferrochromic slag, iron oxide slag, beghauz dust), oil producing plants wastes (oil sludge and petro-oil utilization product), chemical production wastes (galvanic sludge, electro-phosphorous slag, expanded perlite sand screenings).…”

“…The authors team is working on the development of highly efficient building materials and products based on the PVC's "construction" polymer, the expansion of its raw material base, the creation of energy, resource and waste technologies. Their work [1][2][3] declares the principle of multifunctional of PVC fillers, combining the effects of thermal and plasticizing, which enhance the technological and operational properties of building materials and products based on it. An active search is under way for the nanofiller of PVC materials [4][5][6], including the solution of one of the key issues of Nanomodified polymer materials-the development of effective methods for the introduction and distribution of nanoparticles in the polymer matrix.…”
