Arbitrium communication controls phage life-cycle through modulation of a bacterial anti-phage defense system

Abstract: Bacterial temperate viruses (phages) have to decide between a quiescent (lysogenic) and virulent (lytic) lifestyle in the face of a variety of phage defense systems.
