Abstract: Herein, an ω,ω-macromolecular chain transfer monomer (macro-CTM) containing a RAFT (reversible addition−fragmentation chain transfer) group and a methacryloyl group was synthesized and used to mediate photoinitiated RAFT dispersion polymerization of hydroxypropyl methacrylate (HPMA) in water.
