Aqueous extract of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge reduces blood pressure through inhibiting oxidative stress, inflammation and fibrosis of adventitia in primary hypertension

Abstract: Graphical AbstractSABP, an optimized compatibility of four hydrophilic metabolites (DSS, Sal-A, Sal-B and PAL) from Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge, can reduce the systolic blood pressure in SHR through its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-vascular remodeling and anti-fibrosis effects.
