Aptamer Conformational Change Enables Serotonin Biosensing with Nanopipettes

Abstract: We report artificial nanopores in the form of quartz nanopipettes with ca. 10 nm orifices functionalized with molecular recognition elements termed aptamers that reversibly recognize serotonin with high specificity and selectivity.
